There is a manual for the editor is not how it works and I would like to become a custom list I haven't come across a manual yet. It's quite simple to use though. This is what worked for me: 1. Save your TP_Prog.dbs to usb (or use stb_mm_lan to save to PC) preferably in the same folder as Channel Editor. Click Open File.
Select the 'files of type' drop-down. Select.dbs 3. Open TP_Prog.dbs with channel editor. Select User Database. Click All Services >Satellite Information. You will see all your satellites listed. Clicking on the satellite will reveal a list of transponders.
Highlighting the satellite name will show all channels on that satellite. Channels can be deleted, names edited, positions changed. Nb: Favourites cannot be edited with this programme. To save your new TP_Prog.dbs, click File and Export. Remember to choose filetype as.dbs.

Fasbio welcome to forum mate. IF you do ftp connection to your box, you will then be able to download any file from your box. I will advice you to use ftp program FileZilla. When you have connected to your receiver with ftp, locate the TP_Prog.dbs file and download it to your pc. You don't have to use ftp though. If you use the prog/utility stb_lan available on this site, all you need to know is the IP address of your box (from menu>Network setup>Network setup).
I heartily recommend using stb_lan as you don't have to go near your box to update lines or channel lists - you can do it all from your computer. The Chicken Jaco Pdf Download.
