Soundmax Hd Audio Driver
This is probably a stupid question, but did you actually install the drivers? The Multimedia Audio Device is your sound card. As far as the PCI Input Device is concerned, I googled it a bit and it could be anything from a (voice) modem to yet another sound card (a lot of Dell users are reporting the same problem). Most of the times the names of the missing devices are quite cryptic, so you have to be a bit creative. This is a beta anyway, so it couldn't hurt if you tried a few more of those drivers on the Dell page (you can always start a fresh install if things go awry or if you've finally found the appropriate driver).

Well I have corrected all but one more problem. I now have an unknown device that shows.
I now have sound as I changed the sound source to the sound blaster under play back devices. Download Facebook Messenger Without Blackberry App World more. I finally figured out that the unknown device is the game port on the Sound Blaster card. I have the drivers loaded for the sound blaster. When I try to install the driver for the unknown device it comes back with it being the sound blaster game port and tries to install a driver but then comes back with a statement that it can't find a sound blaster card and the installation ends.
I can look in the device list and it shows the sound blaster card and shows that it is working OK but the system doesn't seem to find it. I would say I am 99% there, don't really need a game port, just don't like the device list to show anything unknown!!
What is funny is that when I try to update the driver, it seems to find the driver and then tries to install but then comes back with a statement that it can't find a sound blaster card. Thanks a million! I wanted to move my Win7 installation from my laptop to my old Dell Optiplex, but I thought I was not going to be able to unless I gave up sound (or tried to use a card, and mine are all pretty old).
It's a nice Satellite laptop and I didn't want to wear it out using it every single day for hours on end when I could use an older machine instead. But, I am really curious how you found the driver.
Any secrets to share? Or was it just a matter of trying until you found one (as I had planned to do)?:D.
